Summary

Free tier is free for personal and non-profit use

Msty free tier is free for personal and non-profit use. You can download and use Msty without needing to buy a license. However, if you use Msty for work-related activities that generate revenue in an organization of any size, you must purchase a commercial license for each user. Government departments and agencies fall under commercial use.

Most of the features are available in the free tier, but some features are only available in the paid tier. You can purchase one of the paid licenses to unlock these features.

Aurum Annual is an annual license that unlocks all features as long as the license is active. This license is valid for one year from the date of purchase and is renewed automatically unless you cancel it. Upon cancellation, you will still be able to use the license until the end of the current billing cycle. You will receive all future updates for free as long as the license is active. Once the license expires, you will lose access to the paid features. You can use up to 3 devices with the Aurum Annual license as long as you are the only user, this includes your personal and work devices and across platforms.

Aurum Lifetime is a one-time payment that unlocks all features. You can use up to 3 devices with the Aurum Lifetime as well. This license does not expire, and you will receive all future updates for free. Also, this license is protected from any price increases in the future. If we decide to increase the price of the Aurum Lifetime license, you will not be affected by it. Keep in mind that this license is non-transferable and can only be used by the person who purchased it. Also, the price guarantee is only for the desktop version of Msty. If we decide to release a mobile version, or a web version, or any other version of Msty in the future, the price guarantee does not apply to it.

Both Aurum Annual and Aurum Lifetime licenses are Commercial Use Licenses. If you are using Msty for work-related activities that generate revenue, you must purchase one of these licenses.

Upgrading from Aurum Annual to Aurum Lifetime

You can upgrade from Aurum Annual to Aurum Lifetime with in the first 30 days of purchasing the Aurum Annual license. You can still purchase the Aurum Lifetime license after the 30 days, but you will not receive a discount for the Aurum Annual license you have already purchased. Please contact us for assistance if you would like to upgrade.

Your personal information is not required

Downloading Msty and using it does not require an account, and we do not collect your personal information. The licensing process is simple and is handled by a third-party service provider - LemonSqueezy.

Your data is local

Your data is saved locally on your device and is not sent to our server. Learn more about our approach to privacy and security.

Your content is yours

You retain ownership of all content you create in Msty. We do not claim any rights to it.

We own and reserve rights to our content, including text, images, and code in the app, which is protected by copyright and other laws.

You agree to our terms and privacy policy by using Msty

By using Msty, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please read and understand these documents, as they outline the terms of our relationship, including licensing, fees, security, privacy, liability, and dispute resolution.

You are responsible for your actions

Given the nature of the app where you can download and use any LLMs, censored or not, you are responsible for your actions. We do not have any control over the content you download and use. You are responsible for the content you generate, store, and share.

You are responsible for accepting the privacy policy and Terms of Service of any third-party services/models you use with Msty

Msty allows you to connect to third-party services like OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Perplexity, and others.

You are responsible for understanding and accepting the terms and privacy policies of these services. Any LLMs that need you to accept their terms are your responsibility as well.

Real-Time Data usage

Msty uses real-time data to help you augment an LLM's response with the latest information from the internet. This data is not stored on our servers and is not shared with any third-party services.

However, the queries you make for real-time data are sent to one of many third-party services like Google, Bing, or others. You are responsible for understanding and accepting the terms and privacy policies of these services. There is a big chance that these services will store your queries and use them for their own purposes. We do not have any control over this.

If you are concerned about this, you SHOULD NOT use the Real-Time Data feature. Also, in case you are blocked by these services because, and not limited to, excessive queries, or illegal queries, we are not responsible for it. You are responsible for your actions. Despite the licensing types you have purchased, there is no way for us to unblock you from these services.

License types

You can use Msty Free tier without paying anything as long as you are using it for personal or non-profit use. If you are using Msty for work-related activities that generate revenue, you must purchase one of the paid licenses. Free tier for personal use

Unless you require a commercial use license, you can download and use Msty for free, forever, under Personal Use License, for personal use. This allows you to download and use Msty without needing to buy a license. Keep in mind that some features are only available in the paid tier.

Paid licenses for additional features and commercial use

One of the paid licenses, either Annual Aurum or Annual Lifetime license, are required whenever Msty is being used for work for an organization of any size. Government departments and agencies fall under commercial use. If you are using Msty for work-related activities that generate revenue, you must purchase a commercial use license.

Commercial use licenses must be purchased on per-user basis. Commercial users must purchase at least as many licenses as the number of people who will be using Msty.

Resale and re-distribution of Licenses

Resale and re-distribution of licenses are strictly prohibited. Licenses are non-transferable and can only be used by the person who purchased them. If you are found to be reselling or re-distributing licenses, your license will be terminated immediately. If you are in the business of reselling or re-distributing licenses, please contact us for special arrangements. We are happy to work with you to find a solution that works for both of us. Please keep in mind that the Aurum Lifetime license is NOT available for resale or re-distribution. If you are an enterprise or a business who has been sold a lifetime license for a recurring fee, understand that this is not a legitimate license and your license could be terminated at any time without notice.
